  • In line with our growth strategy, we would like to fill the following vacancies within our Projects & Operations Department.

  • The Systems Engineer will manage software, hardware, and networks.

  • You will maintain reliable operations of the production, test, and development environments for applications and infrastructure at Kobby Technologies.

  • You will ensure compliance to policies and standards.

  • You will collaborate with delivery teams to manage the performance of applications in the production environments.

    Primary Responsibilities

  • Managing Azure instances of D365 – including being the resident expert, manage user accounts and permissions, preform upgrades, apply fix packs, manage client installs, ensure license
    compliance, etc.

  • Manage Azure AD sync permissions and settings.

  • Create technical documentation as required. Documenting ‘as-is’ and ‘to-be’ within accurate and detailed scoping documents.

  • Analyze and document operational business processes.

  • Participate in requirements gathering and technical review meetings at milestones throughout the

  • Work directly with other support colleagues, security services, sales, operations, and administration to ensure the long-term success of our customers and the company.

  • Manage operations of computer systems, network servers, and virtualization.

  • Perform regular backup operations and implement appropriate processes for data protection, disaster recovery, and failover procedures.

  • Maintain security through identity management, certificates, protocols, access controls and firewalls.

  • Manage capacity, storage planning, and database performance.

  • Establish proper governance in the administration of systems by defining policies, standards, processes and best practice guidelines.

    Required Skills / Experience

  • At least 3-5 years’ experience in Technical Support or a position of similar nature in a software company.

  • Professional certifications: Azure certified, MCSE, SQL Server, SharePoint, CRM, etc.

  • Degree/Diploma in Information Technology or Information Systems or Computer Sciences or Business Information Technology or Business Information Systems, Telecommunication, or related discipline.

  • Knowledge and Experience in Mail Systems —0365, Zimbra, Novell GroupWise, MDeamon, Exchange, Lotus notes, etc.

  • Ability to handle multiple tasks.

  • Proficiency with working with MS Excel, MS Word, and MS outlook.

  • Capable of understanding the technical aspects of a complex system.

  • Strong technical troubleshooting skills and problem solving. Demonstrates the ability to think through situations outside the norm and develop appropriate solutions for isolating the root cause.

  • Must have excellent communication skills and a passion for providing world-class service,

  • Experience of directly supporting enterprise-level customers.

  • Ability and desire to learn products and technologies.

  • Must be able to work independently as well as with others, as part of a domestic and international team.

  • Excellent time management, decision making, prioritization and organization skills.

  • Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating system and server platforms with emphasis on Windows 2002/2012/2016 Server.
