Job Duties

  • Coordinate the administration of the Recruitment and Selection processes, working in conjunction with the Human Resources Coordinator to assist in all facets of the recruitment and selection process.

  • Provide administrative support to the Organisational Development/Governance & Risk Branch.

  • Assist with Councils Induction program.  Facilitate new employee information and maintenance to the Payroll Unit

  • Assist with the administration and maintenance of the staff performance review process.

  • In conjunction with other members of the HR Unit provide advice on the interpretation of HR Policies, procedures, guidelines and employee relations issues to staff and management.

  • Coordinate the annual Staff Recognition Awards.

  • In conjunction with the Human Resources Coordinator develop and maintain a centralised position description data base for all WCC positions.

    Education

  • BA In human resource management ,puplic Administration managemaent ,management.

    Skills

  • 6 years experience out of which 1 year as senior hr officer.
