Kenyatta University Senior Lecturer - General Surgery Jobs in Kenya ; The Senior Lecturer in General Surgery will teach medical students, supervise surgical research, provide consultant clinical care at teaching hospitals, and contribute to curriculum development at Kenyatta University.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Earned PhD degree or equivalent in Medicine or Public Health from an accredited university.

  • Master’s degree or equivalent with specialization in Neurosurgery, Cardiothoracic Surgery, General Surgery, Urology, Plastic Surgery, or Paediatrics.

  • At least three (3) years of teaching experience at university level as Lecturer or equivalent research/industry experience.

  • Minimum of four (4) cumulative publications, of which three (3) are in refereed scholarly journals after appointment as Lecturer.

  • Successful supervision of at least three (3) postgraduate students as Lecturer.

  • Registration by the KMPDC and a valid practicing license.
