Kenya Youth Parliament for Water Grant Writers Jobs in Kenya; As a Grant Writer for the KYPW Grant Team, you will transform strategic research into winning funding applications. Working directly with Grant Researchers and leadership, you will articulate KYPW’s vision, draft compelling proposal narratives, build project Logical Frameworks (LogFrames), and construct project budget stories for global donors.

What You Will Do

  • Draft full grant proposals, concept notes, EOIs, and donor pitch decks.

  • Develop project intervention logic, problem statements, target indicators, and LogFrames.

  • Collaborate with finance leads to structure clear project budget narratives and activity breakdowns.

  • Tailor proposal text to match donor terminology, strategic goals, and compliance guidelines.

  • Incorporate reviewer feedback from senior leadership prior to submissions.

    Qualifications & Expectations

  • Demonstrated talent in technical writing, proposal development, storytelling, or communications.

  • Ability to translate community water and sanitation needs into structured intervention plans.

  • High deadline sensitivity, self‑discipline, and collaboration skills.

  • Proficiency with collaborative tools (Google Docs, Notion, Slack).

  • Commitment of 6–10 hours per week during proposal drafting cycles.

    Nice to Have

  • Prior involvement in successful non‑profit or community grant applications.

  • Experience drafting project monitoring & evaluation (M&E) frameworks.
