Duties and Responsibilities

This is the entry and training grade for this cadre.

An Officer at this level w ill be on job training and assigned simple duties in repair and maintenance works under close supervision of a more experienced officer in line with the area of specialization (Carpentry, Masonry, Welding, Painting and Plumbing).

Requirements for Appointment

For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have:

Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) mean grade D or Its equivalent from a recognized institution.

Government Trade Test Certificate Grade III or its equivalent qualification from a recognized institution in relevant trade areas (Carpentry, Masonry, Welding, Painting and Plumbing).

Completing ONE PSC2 (Revised 2016) application form. The form may be downloaded from the Public Service Commisson's website https://www.publicservice.go.ke/

Attach copies of certificates and testimonials.

Provide all the details requested for in the PSC2 form (Revised 2016) and that 1it is an offence to include incorrect information.

Only short listed and successful candidates will be contacted.

Canvassing in any form w ill lead to automatic disqualification

Shortlisted candidates shall be required to produce originals of their National Identity Card,academic and professional certificates and transcripts during interview.

It is a criminal offence to present fake certificates/documents.

In line with Covid-19 protocols, No hard copies shall be accepted.
