Job Specification

  • This will be the entry for this cadre. An officer at this level shall report to Housekeeper.

    Duties and Responsibilities
  • Carrying out the maintenance of the cleanliness and sanitation in housekeeping facilities.
  • Undertaking to report any maintenance within his/her area to the housekeeper.
  • Carrying out the maintenance of the furniture, linen and beddings within the hostel and guest houses.
  • Keeping records of sundry, linen stores and inventory.
  • Reporting any strange occurrence in the hostel/guest houses to housekeeper.
  • Making guest beds and restocking room supplies.
  • Carrying out the distribution of Linen, towels and room supplies to respective users.
  • Undertaking the issuing of rooms and keys as pre-allocated by the housekeeper.
  • Liaising with the housekeeper in dealing with guest requests.
  • Promote Public Values and principles
  • Mentoring and Coaching

    Person Specification
  • Certificate in Housekeeping and Laundry or any relevant and equivalent qualifications from a recognized institution.
  • Proficiency in Computer application skills.
