KCB Bank Senior Relationship Manager Custody Services Jobs in Kenya



Main Duties & Responsibilities

  • Source new business, expand, and retain client relationships with a focus on global custody services.

  • Ensure assigned financial and business growth targets are achieved.

  • Drive customer satisfaction, retention, and identification of repeat/new business opportunities.

  • Manage designated client portfolio through continuous reviews and needs identification.

  • Provide service to customers regarding account information and queries.

  • Facilitate problem resolution with specialized units.

  • Review and negotiate contracts with current and potential clients.

  • Source and prepare tenders/presentations for new business opportunities.

  • Ensure all client KYC/AML documentation is up to date.

  • Identify and manage risks associated with global custody services.

  • Act as a knowledgeable point of contact for new and existing clients.

  • Attend client meetings, AGMs, pitches, and make presentations.

  • Collaborate with client investment committees and fund secretaries to strengthen relationships.

  • Ensure custody reports are submitted to clients within SLA timelines.

  • Resolve audit matters for custody services clients.

  • Ensure billing and revenue collection for custody services rendered.

  • Uphold highest levels of integrity and ethical standards.

    Education and Experience

  • University degree from a recognized institution.

  • Capital Markets Program Certification (CISI) – at least Level 1.

  • Trustee
    Development Program Certification (TDPK).

  • Minimum 7 years’ banking experience in the financial sector.

  • 3 years’ experience in bank operations.

  • 5 years’ experience in relationship management (local/global custody services).

  • 5 years’ stakeholder management experience.

  • 3 years’ experience in business tender processing end‑to‑end.

  • Excellent problem‑solving skills.

  • Strong emotional intelligence.

  • Persuasion, management, and communication skills.

  • Strong organizational skills.
