Kabale University Planning Officer Jobs in Uganda

To support the planning process within the University.

Responsibilities

  • Provides technical assistance with regard to development and review of budgets, strategic and operational plans.
  • Compiles, analyses and reports on budget performance of the University.
  • Provides technical support to various units of the University in budgeting and development of project proposals.
  • Monitors and evaluates the implementation and efficacy of existing policies.
  • Monitors, evaluates and reports on the implementation of ongoing projects at the University in accordance with the projects budgets, targets and timelines.
  • Compiles relevant and analyses relevant data to facilitate preparation of performance review reports.
  • Develops budget projections and forecasts.
  • Assists in the preparation of the policy statement of the University.
  • Performs any other duties as assigned from time to time.

    Requirements

  • Should have a Masters in related field from recognized institution.
  • Should have at least three (3) years of relevant working experience in planning.
  • A post graduate Diploma in Project Planning and Management is an added advantage.
  • Should
    be able to demonstrate applied quantitative research, survey designs, statistical modeling, problem-solving and critical thinking ability.
  • Should have good presentation and communication skills.
  • Should be a team player with good interpersonal relationship skills.
  • Should be computer literate.
