Johns Hopkins University Research Data Analyst Jobs in Uganda

Primary purpose:

Provide research and analytic support on mental health and substance use policy research studies.

General Duties and Responsibilities:

Conduct reviews of relevant research and synthesize main findings

Collect qualitative and quantitative data (interviews, surveys)

Compile key data datasets (data cleaning, merging, variable creation, coding, etc.) and generate data dictionaries

Conduct data analyses and generate tables/figures

Assist in interpreting findings

Assist with drafting manuscripts for peer-reviewed publications

Opportunities to lead manuscripts and report research findings at national conferences

Draft memos to communicate relevant research study findings to policy partners

Assist in drafting technical and progress reports for grant-funded projects

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in related discipline and three years related experience.

Additional education (Master's level) may substitute for work required experience. Ideal candidates would be able to start immediately.
