Personal Specifications

For appointment to this grade, an officer must have:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Health Science, Health Management, Public Health, or a related field.

  • A Master’s degree in Public Health, Health Administration, Health Systems Management, or a related field will be an added advantage.

  • Must possess a valid practising license from the Medical Practitioners and Dentists Board.

  • Certifications in strategic leadership, health economics, or management training courses (lasting 4–6 weeks) are an added advantage.

  • Meet the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution of Kenya.
