Isiolo County Government Assistant Director – Physical Planning Jobs in Kenya



Requirements for Appointment

For appointment to this grade, an officer must have:

  • Served in the grade of Senior Assistant Director of Physical Planning for a minimum period of three (3) years.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Urban and Regional Planning, Urban Planning, Town Planning, or any other equivalent qualification from a university recognized in Kenya.

  • Master’s degree in Urban and Regional Planning, Urban Planning, Town Planning, or any other equivalent qualification from a university recognized in Kenya (added advantage).

  • Be a corporate member of the Kenya Institute of Planners, Architectural Association of Kenya (Town Planning Chapter), or Town & County Planners Association of Kenya (TCPAK).

  • Certificate in Senior Management Course lasting not less than four (4) weeks from a recognized institution.

  • Computer proficiency.

  • Be registered by the Physical Planners Registration Board.

  • Demonstrated merit and ability as reflected in work performance and results.

  • Meet the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution of Kenya.
