Requirements for Appointment
For appointment to this grade, an officer must have:
Served for a cumulative period of eight (8) years of relevant work experience, three (3) of which should have been at the grade of Principal Administration Officer, or in a comparable position.
Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration, Business Administration, Political Science/Government, Anthropology, Social Sciences, or equivalent qualification from a recognised institution.
Master’s degree in Public Administration, Business Administration, Political Science/Government, Anthropology, Social Sciences, or equivalent qualification from a recognised institution (added advantage).
Senior Management Course lasting not less than four (4) weeks from a recognised institution.
Membership to a professional body where applicable.
Proficiency in computer applications.
Shown merit, integrity, and ability as reflected in work performance and results.
