International Rescue Committee - IRC Community Wellbeing Initiative Officer Jobs in EthiopiaJob SummaryCommunity Well-being Initiative (CWI) Officer will be responsible for implementation of a program which encompasses protection through immediate assistance, daily follow-up project implementation, coordination and communication with stakeholders, and compile project documentation and reporting.
The position holder will be based at Mojo Town and directly reports to the Project Manager and indirectly to Adama field coordinator and technical supervisors.
BSc/MSc Degree in Social Work, Sociology, Women’s Studies, or other Social science related field.
Minimum work experience of 3 years for BSc
Degree holders & 2 years for MSc Degree holders.
Demonstrated experience in counseling or social service provision with women and adolescent girls.
Demonstrated confidence in discussing intimate gender and sexuality issues.
Able to maintain GBV and protection principles always – including knowledge and practical application of the GBV Guiding Principles and PSEA.
Ability to communicate in English, Amharic, and Afaan Oromo languages skills is required.
Familiarity working in Oromia regions is an advantage.
Ability to use MS office, word, excel, and outlook email applications very well.
