International Rescue Committee - IRC Cash Transfer Assistant - Shelter/NFI Jobs in EthiopiaJob SummaryCash Transfer Assistant (Shelter and NFI) main objective is to address activities in implementation of the ES/NFI distribution and cash transfer programming, ensure community mobilization and local coordination.
She/he will be responsible for identifying priority needs, target communities, establishing relationships with community local government and leaders, mobilize the communities, ensure the delivery of materials/inputs, conduct registration of complaints, ensure proper distribution and documentation of ES/NFI items, facilitate cash payments to beneficiaries and follow up the beneficiaries to construct/repair their shelters appropriately.
BSc Degree/Diploma in Agricultural Economics, Rural Development, Public Health, Environmental Health, Civil Engineering or Construction Engineering.
Minimum experience of 1 year for BSc Degree and 3 years for Diploma holders.
Relevant experience on ES/NFI, CVA, community mobilization, hygiene promotion with I/NGO in local community settings.
Previous experience of implementing participatory and organizing community mobilizations on the communities will be an advantageous.
Previous experience of implementing of Emergency activities, like shelter construction, NFI distribution, cash transfer will be an asset.
Able to prioritize multiple tasks and
maintain attention to details.
Ability to communicate in English, Amharic, and Afaan Oromo languages skills is required.
Familiarity with local context of the project implementation areas is an advantage.
