International Rescue Committee Application Security Support Specialist Jobs in Kenya; The Application Security Support Specialist supports the Enterprise Applications & Systems team in managing user access, security role assignments, and license governance across Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O), Emburse expense management, and related systems. The role ensures accurate access provisioning, compliance with governance processes, and optimization of license allocations across IRC’s global operations.

Key Responsibilities

Access Management & Provisioning

  • Serve as primary contact for D365 F&O and Emburse access issues.

  • Assign, modify, and remove user security roles based on approved requests.

  • Process delegation of authority updates and journal approver changes.

  • Respond to access and licensing queries from global staff.

  • Support access request processing for additional systems.

    Access Governance & Compliance

  • Coordinate periodic D365 F&O user access reviews.

  • Support quarterly license review cycles and disable inactive accounts.

  • Validate user roles and permissions against job functions.

  • Escalate anomalies, conflicts, or policy violations.

  • Respond to audit queries on system access.

    License Analysis & Optimization

  • Monitor and analyze D365 F&O license utilization.

  • Review and reconcile Power Platform license assignments.

  • Prepare monthly license utilization reports with optimization recommendations.

  • Enforce license governance policies and compliance with agreements.

    Reporting & Documentation

  • Produce reports and dashboards on access and license status.

  • Maintain documentation of access management processes and governance workflows.

    Key Working Relationships

  • Reports to: Deputy Director, Business System Operations.

  • Supervises: N/A.

  • Other Contacts: Senior Adoption Coordinators, Integra Security Administrators,
    HR, Finance.

    Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field; or equivalent work experience.

  • 2–3 years’ experience in IT support, systems administration, or application access management.

  • Knowledge of D365 F&O user roles and security configurations.

  • Basic knowledge of Azure Active Directory (Microsoft Entra ID).

  • Strong analytical skills for license usage data.

  • Experience with ticketing systems (ServiceNow, Jira, or similar).

  • Fluency in English.

    Preferred Qualifications

  • Microsoft Dynamics 365 or Power Platform certification (MB‑300, PL‑900, or equivalent).

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Power Platform licensing.

  • Experience in NGO, humanitarian, or nonprofit sector.

  • Knowledge of IT governance frameworks (ITIL).

  • Exposure to license management or SAM tools.
