    Primary Functions & Responsibilities

  • Supports the RPO-Operations in ensuring an effective and efficient process in the field for collection of required documentation for contracts and subgrants

  • Serves as liaison with subgrant partners in the field and the DC Procurement Team

  • Directs the documentation process in the field, required to sign and close the subgrant/contract agreements, including in depth reviews of subaward proposals to draft risk assessments of subawards

  • Monitors that field CSO’s comply with grant policies and procedures

  • Reviews the financial report/milestones from CSO’s in preparation for submission to DC Procurement team

  • Prepares monthly reports for the subgrants area

  • Collaborates with program staff in the drafting and preparation of the weekly/monthly/quarterly and annual narrative reports, as well as the monthly activity reports

  • Monitors the workplan and performance management for the subgrants area

  • Responsible for organizing and maintaining subaward files in the field as required

  • Responsible for interacting with Ethiopia field program staff and explaining the different mechanisms available to them

  • May train subrecipients and contractors on terms of agreement and reporting
    Performs other duties as assigned

    Job Requirements

    Position Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or business administration preferred.

  • Equivalent professional experience may be substituted for educational experience.

  • 3-5 years of professional experience, prior US Government contracts and grants experience.

  • Strong attention to detail.

  • Able to meet deadlines.

  • Capable of working under pressure and able to prioritize.

  • Good communicator, both verbally and in writing
