About the position:

  • The position is responsible for managing a unit sales team and ensuring that sales targets are being met.

    Duties and Responsibilities

  • Understand customer needs and offer solutions and support.

  • Organize and coordinate sales assistants’ schedules.

  • Generate sales pipeline.

  • Research potential leads from business directories, web searches, or digital resources.

  • Recruit, hire, and train new sales assistants.

  • Receive and report on all sales leads.

  • Supervise sales assistants.

  • Implement strategies to sell products or services.

  • Build new customer base to maximize sales.

  • Retain existing customers by providing prompt customer services.

  • Supervise and oversee the maintenance of customer databases.

  • Answer potential customer questions and follow-up call questions.

  • Work with sales team when closing sales.

  • Track weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance and sales metrics.

  • Assist sales assistants and team to meet and exceed goals.

  • Deliver designated market region monthly and quarterly sales targets.

  • Manage Sales Assistants within designated market region to ensure they deliver on KPI’s and monthly sales targets.

  • Strive to maintain and develop utmost business relationships with existing clients within the designated market region.

  • Ensure correct weekly market intelligence reports in the format required are timely submitted to direct reporting line.

  • Daily visit designated market region in a well-planned schedule pre-approved by direct reporting line.

  • Vet new customer account opening process
    while striving to increase customer database within designated market region.

  • Conduct market surveys from time to time as might be requested by direct reporting line.

  • Prepare weekly market intelligence report and daily activity reports for the designated market region as per defined reporting templates.

    Qualifications and experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in a sales and marketing field.

  • At least 2 years’ experience in general sales.
