Job Brief

  • We seek to engage vibrant and trainable individuals who are go-getters as Trade Development Representatives for the select regions. S/He will deliver volume and revenue growth from outlets by following the planned calls and executing all planned activities in the above-given areas.

  • They will be responsible for gross additions across all product ranges and will also be responsible for placing and auditing visibility material with the main aim of increasing client’s share of eye and leadership on trade

    Responsibilities

  • Gross additions: Achieve set monthly sales and revenue targets from the focus product mix

  • Maintain stock levels at all times and ensure fulfillment of clients desires

  • POSM placement and merchandising complies to set standards

  • Manage secondary sales from distributors and stockiest in the given area

  • Ensure product availability in retail as per journey plans

  • Prospecting & Listing : Mapping and listing of new outlets

  • Manage handover process of new outlets to the dealers

  • Maintain outlet database within the distributor area

  • Reporting & Communication: Daily & Weekly agreed reports on sales and journey planners

  • Quality: Maintain quality standards as per set standards

  • Ensure retail awareness on client’s quality standards

  • Timely reporting on all quality issues

  • Work closely with the Territory Sales Leader and agents within the allocated
    Zone.

  • Achieve and surpass set targets on acquisition of new subscribers through direct selling and trade activities.

  • Development of sales and marketing strategies within assigned market.

  • Report on competitor activity and market opportunities.

  • Provide marketing plans within allocated area.

  • Engage in commercialization arguments with new/potential dealers

    Job Requirements

  • Certificate or diploma in sales (a degree would be an added advantage).

  • Sales, marketing experience is required.

  • Technically savvy.

  • Able to communicate and to present clearly to senior management level clients.

  • Analytical and entrepreneurial skills.

  • MUST have integrity and good work ethic.

  • Sale of FMCG products.

  • Customer relationship management .

  • Knowledge of smartphones and devices in the market.

  • Experience in sales in Telecommunication industry is desirable.
