I&M Bank Relationship Manager, Barakah Banking Jobs in Kenya; Act as the point of contact for customers, ensuring positive customer experience and marketing to new and existing clients to grow quality business across assets and liabilities. Responsible for retention of existing customers, growing wallet share, and effective relationship management of the assigned portfolio.

Focus on Shariah‑compliant financing and overall Barakah Banking book across all branches.

Key Responsibilities

Identify and approach potential clients, introducing Bank products and services.

Strengthen ties with existing clients through cross‑selling and expanding engagement.

Conduct regular meetings to foster client relationships and expand connections.

Gather crucial financial and non‑financial documents for credit analysis.

Develop strategies to grow the assigned portfolio and implement them.

Act as the main point of contact for clients, managing accounts and responding promptly.

Build strong client relationships and attend events for further interaction.

Customize banking solutions to meet client business needs.

Offer exceptional customer service and guide clients on investment products.

Share results, propose solutions, and recommend concessions when needed.

Handle diverse clients, from MSMEs to large SMEs, addressing unique needs.

Ensure AML/KYC compliance, analyse financials,

negotiate terms, and coordinate processes to deliver services effectively.

Academic Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Social Science or related field.

Knowledge and certifications in Islamic Banking.

Professional Qualifications / Memberships

Relevant professional qualification.

Member of a relevant professional body.

Work Experience Required

At least four (4) years’ relevant experience in a similar organisation.

Competencies

Strong leadership skills.

Executive disposition.

High levels of integrity.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Thorough understanding of the Banking Sector.

Thorough understanding of Bank Products.

Ability to create and maintain strong stakeholder relationships.
