I&M Bank Manager, Corporate Credit Jobs in Kenya



Key Responsibilities

Credit Analysis & Approvals

  • Analyze credit proposals for risk identification, measurement, and mitigation.

  • Ensure proposals adhere to Bank policies and CBK prudential guidelines.

  • Structure facilities appropriately based on borrower risk profile.

  • Liaise with corporate credit analysts to ensure quality proposals.

    Portfolio Management

  • Actively monitor portfolio for early warning signs.

  • Conduct financial reviews, covenant monitoring, site visits, and business engagements.

  • Manage inward clearing exception reports, temporary overdrafts, and excess limits.

  • Participate in credit portfolio management to reduce Gross NPL ratio.

    Policy & Product Development

  • Act as bridge between credit and other departments in product development.

  • Review/write policies and procedures for new products.

  • Conduct bank‑wide training on products and credit analysis.

  • Provide risk analysis for new service providers and investments.

    Market Research & Reporting

  • Conduct regular market research on competition, products, and best practices.

  • Prepare papers for CRMC, BCC, GCMC meetings and other reports.

  • Ensure service level agreements and turnaround times are adhered to.

  • Thorough understanding of banking sector and products.

  • Ability to build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships.
