Human Diagnostics Uganda Limited is a leading biomedical diagnostics company in Uganda and a member of the German Multinational group Human which provides diagnostics solutions worldwide.
The company is currently seeking applications from qualiﬁed persons for the following position: The key role of the Sales and Marketing Executive is to implement the company's marketing and sales strategy aimed at achieving set targets. S/he will convert generated leads into sales, carry—out market research and analysis, developing the company brand and increasing its visibility..
Key Responsibilities & Duties:
Execute the company's sales and marketing strategy to enhance sales growth and customer satisfaction. Generate leads through integrated campaigns and taking responsibility to converting them into sales.
Negotiate and close sales as well as handle customer complaints or objections.
Identify marketing opportunities by identifying consumer requirements; deﬁning market, competitor's share, and competitor's strengths and weaknesses; forecasting projected business; establishing targeted market share.
Sustain rapport with key customer accounts by making periodic visits; exploring speciﬁc needs; anticipating new opportunities.
Conduct market research and analysis; gather feedback and share with internal teams about the ever changing market trends and business environment.
Participate in regular reviews on the impact of marketing strategies and plans in liaison with the stakeholders.
Prepare and deliver appropriate presentations on products and services.
Participate in marketing, sales and promotional activities of the company.
The ideal candidate should be aged between 22 and 30 years with a good university degree in Medical Laboratory Science, Biomedical Laboratory Technology, Business Administration majoring in marketing or related ﬁeld from reputable institution
At least 2 (two) years in a marketing and sales role preferably in the medical business industry,
Knowledge of business development and sales
Knowledge of different marketing channels, merits and drawbacks of each..
Excellent communication skills, both oral and written; ability to prepare and deliver technical and sales reports as well as presentations to internal and external audiences.
High standards of personal and professional integrity.
Self-driven and a result-oriented approach to work in order to achieve ambitious targets.
Good interpersonal skills.
Must be creative and innovative.
Ability to initiate and complete actions
