We’re looking for…

A young, energetic and qualified sales representative to find and screen potential customers who can benefit from our clients’ products and services. As the first line of communication with prospective clients, you should have a strong understanding of the sales process, excel at researching leads, start new relationships, and set our client's sales closers up for success.

    What’s the role?

    You will be responsible for:

  • Building a new lead list through various means of research.

  • Generating new business opportunities by finding and qualifying leads through cold phone calls and emails, as well as inbound contacts to the website and other marketing channels.

  • Cold calling, and email to generate new sales opportunities

  • Proactively seeking new business opportunities in the market

  • Managing and maintaining a pipeline of interested prospects
    and engaging sales executives for the next steps

  • Setting up meetings or calls between (prospective) customers and sales executives

  • Meeting and/or exceeding individual targets and contributing to the overall team targets (monthly, quarterly and annual).

  • Reaching and exceeding key performance indicators including meetings booked calls completed, emails sent, and contracts signed.

  • Maintaining an organized pipeline and activity records

  • Building long-term trusting relationships with prospects to qualify leads as sales opportunities

  • Reporting to sales manager with weekly, monthly, and quarterly results

  • Matric

  • 1-3 years’ sales experience

  • Excellent academic results (Matric and Varsity)

  • Tertiary education – (Accounting, Tax, Economics, Finance, Investment Management or Similar) OR (Commerce, Marketing, Multimedia, Strategic Communications, Journalism qualifications are advantageous)
