We are looking for a competent talented applicants for the vacant post of Translator (Chinese to Amharic/ English and Vice versa)
Translates From/ To Chinese, Amharic & English languages on company rules and regulations, training materials, technical documents with the 100% accuracy in translation.
Translate a variety of company rules and regulations, working instructions, manuals, training materials, technical manuals, video and audio documentation from/ to Chinese, Amharic & English with attention to detail.
Follow set standards regarding order, clarity, conciseness, style, and terminology.
Facilitate effective communication between parties when needed.
Attend trainings, meetings and act as official translator to mediate discussion.
Facilitate communication for people with different language.
Accompany foreign visitor and facilitate translation service when needed.
We are looking for a candidate with experience in Chinese translation and ability to perform well under pressure.
In addition, s/he should possess
Degree or any other recognized qualification in Language or related field is an added advantage.
Mandatory to have proven work experience as a Translator, Interpreter or similar role.
Fluency in Chinese, Amharic and English languages.
Excellent proofreading skills with the ability to identify grammar, spelling and punctuation errors.
Additional certification in Linguistics (related field) is a plus.
