Health Service Commission Commissioner – Institutional and Human Jobs in Uganda

Qualifications:

MBChB or BDS or Bachelor of Pharmacy or BSc. Nursing or Medical Laboratory Technology or Radiography, or Health Education or Education Management or Organizational Psychology or Human Resource Development from a recognized
University or Institution.

Master’s Degree in Health Education or Education Management, or Organizational
Development, or Human Resource Development or Health Systems Development from recognized a University or Institution.

Experience:

Should have twelve (12) years’ relevant working experience, three of which should
have been served at the level of Assistant Commissioner Human Resource Development or equivalent level of experience from a reputable organization.

Other requirements:

Should have strong management, communication and interpersonal skills.

Should have integrity

Duties and Responsibilities:

Develop policy and guidelines for institutional and human resource for health
development.

Develop plans and strategies for institutional and human resources for health
development.

Develop budgets and mobilize resources for institutional and human resources for health development.

Implement change and organizational development initiatives.

Monitor and evaluate institutional and human resources for health development plans.

Develop and implement capacity building for institutional and human resource for health development plans.

Produce performance plans and reports for institutional and human resources for health development.

Manage staff performance.

Provide support supervision to the sector staff.

Perform any other duties assigned from time to time.
