Responsibilities

Oversee customer relations, ensure Physical Security Surveys and post orders are updated regularly, and review disciplinary actions for consistency and propriety

Provide supervision to Shift Supervisors and Security Officers (e.g., implement standard security operations at the site, and ensure compliance through supervision)

Ensure that contract-required training and screening elements for security personnel have been met; quality assurance and contract compliance

Coordinate with Human Resources personnel on recruiting efforts

Maintain overtime to a preset requirement designated by G4S

Requirements

Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent

Must be able to pass any state required training or other qualification for licensing

Must be able to pass a state licensing test for driving a company-owned or client-provided vehicle

Must possess a current and valid Bureau of Security and Investigative Services (BSIS)

Security Officer License issued by the State of California

Minimum of 1 year of verifiable and successful supervisory/management experience in a protective service field (e.g., military, corrections, law enforcement, private security, loss prevention, etc.)

Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office

Effective oral and written communication skills

Active listening skills

Ability to assess and evaluate situations effectively

Ability to identify

critical issues quickly and accurately

Attention to detail

Ability to mediate conflict with tact, diplomacy

Ability to coach, mentor, motivate

Must be at least 18 years old or the minimum age required by the state, if higher

Must be a U.S. citizen or a foreign citizen authorized to legally work in the United States

Must be able to work flexible schedules and respond to work assignments with little to no advance notice

Must be able to operate radio or telephone equipment and/or console monitors

Must have demonstrated ability to interact cordially and communicate with the public

Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law

Must be able to provide, upon job offer, a DD214 discharge document with discharge status indicated, if prior military
