Fully Funded DAAD Architecture Scholarships for International Students

DAAD scholarships is offering fully funded International scholarships in the field of architecture.

The aim of the scholarship is to give international students an opportunity to pursue their education in Germany with a postgraduate or continuing course.

The scholarship covers; tuition fees, living allowances, health insurance…

Scholarship Information:

Since its inception, DAAD Scholarships supports tens of thousands of International, German and researchers worldwide every year.

This makes DAAD Scholarships one of the funding organisation in the world. DAAD Scholarships also do fund researchers at low and middle-income countries.

Hence it is one of the biggest players in assisting developing countries develop their education systems and train academically exceptional scholars.

Scholarship Package:

The scholarship will provide a monthly living stipend of 750 euros, cover travel costs, study allowance paid once and health insurance, accident and personal liability insurance coverage.

In some instances, scholarship recipients may also get the additional benefits such as, 500 euros tuition fees per semester, a monthly rent allowances and monthly stipend for family members

DAAD Scholarships generously offers extra support to scholarship recipients, such as;

  • A 6-month payment of online German language course fees “Deutsch-Uni Online (DUO)” (www.deutsch-uni.com)
  • An allowance for to study an individually chosen German language course while pursuing graduate studies in Germany.
  • DAAD Scholarship will refund the costs for the TestDaF test which the scholarship recipient took at his/her home country or after receiving the Scholarship Award Letter
  • A refund of the DSH examination fees taken beforehand or during the scholarship period.

    Eligibility Criteria:
  • The applicants must
    have a bachelor’s degree in the subject areas of Architecture, Interior Design, Monument Conservation, Urban Planning or Urban Development, Regional Planning, Landscape Architecture, Landscape Planning by the time they start their DAAD Scholarship funded studies in Germany.

    Admission Requirements:
  • Applicants MUST have a bachelor’s degree.
  • Applicants from countries where English is not a first language MUST show proof of proficiency in English at the higher level required by the University.
  • Only International students can apply for this scholarship program.

    How to Apply:
  • Applicants Must upload the following documents to the DAAD portal; A completed online application form, curriculum vitae in created in a table format and personal statement regarding their academic record and a letter of motivation containing 1 – 3 pages.
