  • Our client, a leading FMCG manufacturer with a huge market footprint in Kenya and the region seeks to recruit candidates who are dynamic, results oriented, energetic and self-driven for the position of Marketing Executives.

    Overall purpose of the Job:

  • Implementing Marketing management plans and optimizing marketing, trade and consumer strategies of the assigned brand by effectively executing approved plans and strategies.

    Key Deliverables for the Position

  • Implementing product marketing, consumer & distribution strategies.

  • Responsible for marketing activities at trade and consumer level.

  • Establishing and implementing support systems for execution excellence.

  • Achieve brand activities against target and costs.

    Key Role Accountabilities

  • Implement the BRAND strategy through processes and procedures to achieve the organization’s objectives

  • Knowledge of product pricing, packaging, distribution and positioning is key

  • Assist brand management team in maintaining brand popularity among the consumers

  • Ensuring respective brand is available and visible at all points of sales in general and modern trade.

  • Help develop and optimize marketing campaigns (product launching and promotion)

  • Execute agreed and approved strategies and plans including promotions, merchandising activities, launches, activations (ATL & BTL).

  • Coordinate with the Trade and Marketing team to ensure that brand material is appropriately placed at all Point of Sales (POS).

  • Identifying growth and innovation opportunities through generation of consumer and market insights.

  • Conduct regular and continuous monitoring of competitor activities and recommend appropriate measures.

  • Generation of periodic relevant reports on brand performance

  • Implementing best practices in
    brand management & respective areas of work

  • Implementing product quality, customer & Service Excellence and Change initiatives to achieve desired business plans and culture.

    Person Specifications (Qualifications, Skills and Competences)

  • Holder of a Degree in Marketing, Business Administration or other relevant field.

  • Holders of CIM or MSK Certification will have an added advantage.

  • At-least 3 year(s) relevant experience in marketing and brand management.

  • Digital Communication and Social Media Engagement skills.

  • Reporting and presentation skills

  • Planning and organizing skills

  • Interpersonal skills

  • Results-driven attitude

  • A creative mind set

  • Negotiation skills
