Position Description:Timely and accurate processing of sales orders and follow through to the respective departments.
Timely and accurate completion of all requisitions for purchasing.
Assist external sales person with completing of quotations, handling of enquiries and sales orders.
Assist the Sales Department to achieve the bookings target set for the year.
Ensure compliance with all local regulations, SOX, and company policies and procedures.
Control of export documentation from logistics companies
Position Requirements:
Ability to deliver beyond our customer expectations
Strong written and oral communication skills
Computer literate (Syspro added advantage)
Handling of telephone, e-mail or faxed enquiries according to company procedures.
Internal sales function, which includes selection of products and completing of quotations using MS Word and MS Excel.
The incumbent must be able to work unsupervised, work efficiently and accurately.
Must assist and offer a strong back up to the external sales person.
Must be prepared to help with company stock take which is set twice yearly including Saturdays.
Correspond with local and international suppliers for the various products within the companies’ organisation.
Adhere to company standards and procedures.
Must be a Team Player within the organisation.
Preferences:
Relevant minimum qualification or equivalent experience
Minimum 5 years sales experience
Industry related technical experience
Computer Skills – Microsoft office, Syspro or similar
Availability for overtime and weekend work if needed
