We are looking to hire an HR Assistant to join our busy operations team in Addis Ababa on a permanent basis.

Support performance management processes
Support employee development and training projects
Advising on policies and procedures
Support with Recruitment and resourcing
Keep up to date with employment law
Maintain employee records
Overseeing payroll and working with the payroll provider
Assist with the day-to-day running of the HR department
Assist with onboarding and exit interviews
Monitor absence data in line with policy and escalate appropriately
Processing new starters, leavers, and contractual changes
At least 1 years previous HR experience
Excellent reporting skills
Good experience of Excel as there is no HR system in place
Basic knowledge of employment law
Must be able to work remotely
Competent with Microsoft Office
