Purpose
To analyse customer and / or payment information to identify potential suspicious transactions and/or individuals in order to mitigate / reduce the incidence of financial crimes against the bank.
Experience and Qualifications
Minimum Qualification - Relevant Degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics or Engineering
Preferred Qualification - Relevant Post Graduate in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics or Engineering
Experience - 5 to 8 years’ experience in a similar environment, of which 2 to 3 years ideally at management level
Experience in Quantitative Analysis, Portfolio Management Optimisation, Analytical Strategy Design, Predictive Modelling and Process Optimisation
Additional Requirements
Experience - 5 to 8 years working with a balance sheet on both advances and deposits
Experience - 5 to 8 years in Credit And/ Or Risk
In Depth knowledge of the
Financial Resource Performance management Framework
In Depth business acumen
Responsibilities
Ensure the implementation and application of predictive models
Manage people by executing management responsibilities and create an environment that encourages employee growth and performance excellence
Continuously assess own performance, seek timely and clear feedback and request training where appropriate
Develop tactical strategy and delivery plans in support of functional strategic objectives in partnership with leadership
Integrate business information, and compare, analyse and produce reports to identify trends, discrepancies and inconsistencies for decision making purposes
Design and implement new or cutting-edge systems, solutions and processes and initiate innovations and changes aligned to business strategy
Provide input into, and implement, corporate governance, compliance, integrity and ethics policies in area of accountability in order to identify and manage risk exposure
Provide subject matter expertise and thought leadership
Anticipate and meet the needs of clients and commit to continuous development and entrenchment of a customer service culture
Establish mutually beneficial relationships with stakeholders that support thought leadership, innovative and integrated practice solutions
Manage expenditure planning and reporting within approved budget parameters for business area
Develop tactical plans to drive revenue growth
