Purpose

To analyse customer and / or payment information to identify potential suspicious transactions and/or individuals in order to mitigate / reduce the incidence of financial crimes against the bank.

Experience and Qualifications

  • Related Degree
  • 3- 5 years

    Responsibilities
  • Preparation of cost estimates for: Budget purpose and do elemental estimate of cost for Business case approval to ensure effective cost savings
  • Manage costs / expenses within approved budget to achieve cost inefficiencies
  • Deliver exceptional service that exceeds customers’ expectations through proactive, innovative and appropriate solutions
  • Ensure accuracy of Bills of Quantity received from outsource companies and manage and allocate deliverables for outsource companies
  • Liaise with internal and external parties on obtaining quotes and ensure that quotes are received within the required timeframes
  • Update bills of
    quantity from time to time as required and continuously develop and improve on bill of quantity templates used by evaluation of priced Bills of Quantities received from contractors
  • Comply with governance in terms of legislative and audit requirements through advice on the development and maintenance of policy, methods, practices and standards on quality surveying services
  • Provide advice and costing resulting out of design changes, variations etc. by constantly reviewing FNB's specifications and market trends and advise on cost savings and provide cost advice and guidance to Infrastructure Management, private consultants in respect of departmental requirements
  • Do estimates on building projects or designs changes and prepare reports on projected building costs and verify stock usage per project and maintain database of all final project costs and update baseline cost
  • Deal with all contractual aspects on building contracts claims and liaise with legal with regards to matters arising out of Infrastructure contracts.
  • Do verification of tender documents and monitor contractor progress and performance in consultation with Infrastructure Manager to ensure that work is done within budgetary ambits
    Manage own development to increase own competencies
