Excelligent Nutritionist Jobs in Kenya

Qualification

Diploma in Nutrition and Dietetics from a recognized and accredited institution.

Registration with the Kenya Nutrition and Dietetics Council (KNDI) with a valid registration certificate.

Certificate in Computer Applications from a recognized institution.

Experience

Minimum of 1–2 years’ experience in a busy healthcare facility (preferably hospital setting).

Job Summary

Provide comprehensive nutrition services within the hospital.

Conduct nutrition assessments, deliver nutrition education, and offer counseling to patients with specific dietary needs.

Support maternal, infant, and young child nutrition programmes.

Implement supplementary and therapeutic feeding programmes.

Assist in monitoring and preparation of therapeutic feeds.

Collect and compile nutrition data for reporting and decision‑making.

Ensure quality patient care and adherence to national nutrition guidelines.
