Economic Commission for Africa Human Resources Intern Jobs in Ethiopia; ECA’s mission is to deliver ideas and actions for an empowered and transformed Africa, guided by the 2030 Agenda and Agenda 2063. This internship assignment is in the Organization Development Unit (ODU), Human Resources Management Section (HRMS), Administration and Conference Management Division (ACMD).

Role Purpose

The intern will support HRMS in learning needs verification, induction programmes, language center tracking, HR dashboards, and reporting. The role provides exposure to HR projects and organizational development processes.

Responsibilities

Assist in the 2027 Learning Needs verification by developing surveys and collecting data.

Monitor and follow up on updates and maintenance of the O‑Induction programme.

Track and record attendance for language courses.

Contribute to design and improvement of HR dashboards by organizing and presenting HR statistical information.

Assist with administrative tasks supporting HR projects.

Support reporting requirements for mandatory training and performance management.

Support learning programmes and workshop logistics.

Draft internal communications, training announcements, and knowledge‑sharing materials.

Compile periodic and post‑training reports.

Perform tasks as assigned by the head of the unit.

Qualifications / Special Skills

Applicants must be enrolled in or have completed a first degree or graduate programme

(Master’s or higher).

Enrollment in/final year of a Bachelor’s degree also accepted.

Academic background in adult education, human resources management, or management studies desirable.

Languages

Fluency in spoken and written English required.

Knowledge of French or another UN official language is an advantage.
