Development Expertise Lab Enumerators – Phone Surveys Jobs in Nigeria; Development Expertise Lab (DEL) is implementing a large‑scale phone survey with Cameroonian refugees living in Nigeria. All interviews will be conducted remotely by phone and WhatsApp using computer‑assisted telephone interviewing (CATI) with SurveyCTO. Enumerators will conduct interviews and ensure accurate data collection.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct remote interviews by phone and WhatsApp.

  • Accurately log survey responses into SurveyCTO.

  • Maintain up‑to‑date tracking logs and documentation.

  • Ensure adherence to ethical standards, informed consent, and data protection protocols.

  • Collaborate with supervisors and research teams to resolve data quality issues.

    Qualifications

  • Native or fluent English speaker; fluency in Cameroonian Pidgin English an asset.

  • Previous experience conducting remote phone interviews.

  • Experience with socio‑economic survey work, including phone‑based surveys.

  • Experience with computer‑assisted interviewing (CAPI/CATI); SurveyCTO strongly preferred.

  • Knowledge of cultural context and sensitivities of respondent population.

  • University degree preferred.

  • Knowledge of Anglophone regions of Cameroon an asset.

  • Access to a quiet environment and a smartphone capable of WhatsApp calls.

  • Based in Nigeria or Cameroon.
