Dangote Group Production Manager - Numan Jobs in Nigeria; The Production Manager will plan, direct, coordinate, and control all factory production activities to achieve targeted cane crushing, sugar output, quality standards, operational efficiency, cost control, and safety objectives. The role ensures optimum utilization of manpower, equipment, and resources while fostering teamwork and operational excellence.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement production plans to meet daily, weekly, monthly, and seasonal targets.

  • Coordinate all factory production activities from cane reception to sugar packaging.

  • Monitor production performance and take corrective actions to achieve objectives.

  • Ensure optimum utilization of plant capacity and resources.

  • Track efficiency indicators and recovery performance.

  • Drive initiatives to maximize sugar recovery and minimize losses.

  • Identify bottlenecks and implement improvement measures.

  • Promote continuous improvement and best manufacturing practices.

  • Lead and supervise Process Managers, Shift Managers, Supervisors, and production staff.

  • Conduct performance reviews and identify training needs.

  • Develop a culture of teamwork, accountability, and excellence.

  • Participate in preventive maintenance, shutdowns, and commissioning activities.

  • Ensure prompt reporting and resolution of equipment failures.

    Educational Qualification & Work Experience

  • B.Sc./HND in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or related field.

  • Relevant professional certification (advantageous).

  • Minimum of 15 years’ experience in sugar
    industries.
