  • Our client is looking for an energetic and creative Magazine Editor who will be the captain of the ship, steering the editorial content of the publication along the course that they see as the best fit for Magazine

    Job Description

    • Reviews all articles for content before they are published

    • Managing the workflow of a magazine

    • Proofreading entails looking for objective errors, such as typos and grammatical errors.

    • Organizing content to make the piece more logical, removing information that's not necessary

    • Contacting the writer to ask for more information or editing to make sure an article fits in the allotted space.

    • Writes stories or works with writers in a specific area

    • Depending on the type of magazine that you are working for, travel may be part of your job description

    Candidate Specification

    • Experience: 6 years Education Level: Degree Qualifications:

    • Bachelors Degree in Journalism, Mass Communication or English Software:

    • Microsoft package

    • Equipment: Computer

    • Knowledge Of: Media production and communication

    • Skills To: Good project management skills

    • Ability To: Pay attention to details

    • Other Requirements: Being able to formulate and plan editorial schedules
