  • Our client seeks to recruit a dynamic, driven and qualified professional to take up the role of Accountant.

  • The Accountant will be tasked with preparing, examining and analyzing company accounts, financial records and other financial obligations.

    Job Description

  • Entry of income, expenses, sales and purchases into ledgers and its posting

  • Maintaining all aspects of general ledger, including monthly, quarterly and annual close

  • Daily Banking, preparation of monthly bank reconciliations and up to date maintenance of cash book

  • Monitoring and managing bank balances, overdrafts and the overall relationship with the bank

  • Approvals of Sales Orders

  • Collection of payments from customers and Preparation of collection plans

  • Billing and collection of receivables based on collection plan

  • Costing/landing of shipped goods

  • Liaising with auditors and local professional advisors

  • Ensuring compliance with regulators, pension plans, city/council authority, tax authorities etc

    Candidate Specification

    Experience

  • 5 years

    Education Level

  • Degree

    Qualifications

  • Degree in Accounting/ Finance, ACCA, CIMA or CA Software SAP, Accounting related software
    Equipment

    Industry Related

  • Knowledge Of Costing/landing of shipped goods

    Skills To

  • Interact with customers and manage customer accounts

    Ability To

  • Prepare collection plans for outstanding customer debts

    Other Requirements

  • Knowledge of SAP will be an added advantage
