COMUNITA VOLONTARI PER IL MONDO Social Coordinator Jobs in EthiopiaJob DescriptionCOMUNITA VOLONTARI PER IL MONDO (CVM) is an Italy based international NGO re- registered with the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia, Agency for Civil Society Organization as Foreign organization under Certificate number 0941 in accordance with the Civil Society Organizations Proclamation number 1113/2019 to operate in Ethiopia.
CVM is active with various projects in defense of orphaned and vulnerable children, domestic workers and maids, minorities, HIV positive and AIDS patients.
Moreover, it works to guarantee the increase in the availability of water for drinking and agricultural purposes and for the increase in sanitation.
CVM-Ethiopia is currently seeking qualified applicants for its vacant position for Social Coordinator post.
Responsible for all social projects implemented in CVM Addis and Branch Offices out of Addis Ababa.
Coordinate in planning, Implementing, monitoring, evaluating and reporting CVM social projects in Addis Ababa
Responsible for CVM Social Team in Addis
Responsible for the good utilization of project budget and team management
Direct projects to ensure they reach the objectives, expected results and impact required
Assess the impact of CVM Social Projects
Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual report
Prepare social projects physical, narrative and financial reports for donors
Build and keep courteous and effectively relations with CVM stakeholders in social projects
Implement activities at Regional level in Ethiopia according to the nature of the Project implemented by CVM
Essential educational, experience, and competency requirements are
M.A. Degree in Sociology or in Social Work
At least 4/5 years of work experience as Project Manager/leader in NGO Social Programmes.
Related experience in Migration and Woman Rights is a plus
Excellent knowledge of computer applications especially excel
Good capacity to work within a team
Reporting skills for the evaluation of the project and the compilation of project results
