CAD Technician Jobs in Nairobi

  • A medium sized but busy civil and structural engineering consultancy firm in Nairobi seeks to recruit a competent, highly motivated and result oriented individual for the position of CAD Technician.

  • Reporting to the senior engineer the successful candidate will be responsible for the following functions;

  • Preparation of detailed civil & structural drawings

  • Adjust, revise/modify structural drawings according to mark ups & specifications.

  • Preparation of project reports

  • Attending to site inspections and site meetings.

  • Preparation of bar bending schedules

  • Conducting, coordinating & analyzing site quality control tests as maybe required.


  • Diploma in civil engineering from a reputable institution.

  • At least one year relevant work experience in civil & structural detailing of building structures and civil works in a busy design office.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Demonstrates sound work ethics, honesty and integrity.

  • Be proficient in AutoCAD.

  • Ability to work independently and in a team.
