Our client in the Marketing Industry seeks to hire a Business Development Executive to be based in Nairobi.
The individual will spearhead business growth through proposal writing, identification of new business opportunities and regularly close acquire desired business.
Duties and Responsibilities
Identify new business development opportunities and use innovative solutions to acquire and maintain clients
Ensure that fruitful relationships with clients are maintained
Plan and oversee new marketing initiatives
Develop goals and ensure they are met by the business development team
Negotiate with clients and ensure successful acquisition of businesses
Develop marketing strategies through research and prospects
Meet with clients and inform them of any new products and services
Attend industry functions and provide feedback on market trends
Coordinate effectively any administrative and operations functions
Understand client needs, and market trends and use the information to win more business.
Any other assigned duties by management
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration/ Business Management, Project Management or related business field
Diploma in Sales and Marketing
At least 4 years experience in Business Development and Marketing
Proven record on achieving targets set from previous roles
Excellent negotiation, analytical, tactical and strategic planning skills
Detail oriented with strong communication and report writing skills
A problem solver, good time manager and an ethical individual
