BME Underground Mechanical Specialist Jobs in Zambia

We pride ourselves in providing high quality explosives products with an excellent support service to all our clients. BME Zambia Ltd is looking for a competent, passionate and results-driven professional to fill the following role:

Underground Mechanical Specialist - Zambia/Namibia/DRC

Reports to: Maintenance Manager .

Key Performance Areas

• Managing On-site breakdowns, call outs, repairs, modifications and carrying out routine equipment audits

• Providing technical support services and advice to operations Managing stock and inventory as well as logistics

• Managing the SHEQ function

• Managing costs

• Good written and verbal communication skills.

• Excellent analytical skills

• Excellent decision making ability

Requirements:

• Full grade 12 certificate or its equivalent

• Minimum of Diploma in Mechanical Engineering

• Experience in the electric field is an added advantage

• Member of the Engineering Institution of Zambia (EIZ)

• Understanding and practical experience in pneumatics, hydraulics and pumps

• Minimum of 5 years post qualifying experience in the hydraulics and mechanical field.

• Computer literacy

• Supervisory experience in managing a production crew

• SADC Driver's licence Class C
