Bishop Stuart University (Chartered by the Government of the Republic of Uganda- Chartered 2014) is a growing Ankole Diocese Church of Uganda (Anglican) founded institution located in Mbarara on Kakoba Hill 5km from the town Centre.

Bishop Stuart University is inviting competent applicants for the above position.

Bishop Stuart University Library Assistant Jobs in Mbarara Uganda


Responsibilities;

Information classification of materials, cataloging and catalog maintenance

Stocktaking and stock maintenance

Handling complaints and other administrative issues including assistance to readers

Compiling bibliographies and records

Supervision, guidance, and training of library attendants and other non- professional library workers

Requirements

Bachelor of Library and Information Science from a recognized University

Computer Literacy is a Must

Applicants must have a minimum of 2 years’ experience working in a library of a reputable organization

Able to work with minimum supervision, mature and a good team player
