Job Description

Purpose of the job

  • The major purpose of the job is to assist the sites MM regarding the technical stock management.

  • The major duty focuses on making an overview of the stock movement of the technical items from the system, initiate RFQ before the items become at the critical stock level.

  • In addition, the job holder is expected to create a group RFQ for all site requests after analyzing the stock level of the technical items.

    Main duties & responsibilities

  • Create a new RFQ for items below reorder level & communicate sites MM for conformation.

  • Then, the new RFQ will be initiated & communicated to the Procurement system operator.

  • For all tasks, the planner starts with Replenishment advice.

  • Make proposal of min stock level, max stock level, and reorder level based on recent stock movement history to sites MM (for items that don’t have min stock level, max stock level, and reorder level), including the feedback of sites MM, get confirmation on new settings from CTM/CIM before updating the system.

  • Then s/he creates a new RFQ based on current stock level, and recent stock movement history & communicate sites MM for conformation.

  • Then, the new RFQ will be initiated & communicated to the Procurement system operator.

  • For all tasks, the planner starts with Replenishment advice.

  • Review the stock level of technical items in the system, make a distribution proposal to sites MM, CMM/CIM to eliminate excess stock at a few sites, and make proper distribution & allocation.

  • Organization of RFQ from all
    sites. All sites RFQs, come to the planner (periodically), RFQs will be organized and a group RFQ will be initiated/created by the planner(Periodically),
  • The new group RFQ will be communicated to requesting site MMs for the follow-ups. The new group RFQ will be communicated to the Procurement system operator.

  • Managing urgent RFQ in a special manner. Urgent RFQ will not be grouped rather the planner will directly push for urgent action to the Procurement system operator.

  • However, the urgency of the RFQ must be justified by the requesting site MM & must be approved by CTM/CIM on the proper template
    Generate the periodical reports as required by users.

  • Carry out other supportive tasks in the department, during staff absence/workload.

    Job Requirements

  • Excellent communication ability (verbally & written mode)

  • Have advanced knowledge of Microsoft applications (especially MS Word, Ms. Excel, MS Outlook)

  • Ability to set up alignment meeting to resolve issues.

  • Hand on skill to communicate the sites MM & requestors on mail.

  • Ability to work on Databases.

  • Skill to work on Web-based replenishment advice for local procurement.

  • The right attitude to be a good team player,

  • Ability to respond to urgencies,
    Result oriented, attention to detail.

  • Respect the company rules & regulations of safety.

    Expected Education and Experience

  • Field of a stream: Management Information System, Computer Science/ ICT, Management, Supply Chain Management.

  • 4-years direct work experience in similar responsibility or industry
