Introduction

  • The HR Manager is responsible for employment policies and procedures, overseeing payroll and rewards and recognition programs as well as managing workplace safety initiatives. Along with administering employee-benefit programs, the HR Manager role involves finding, screening, recruiting new job applicants and developing training and development programs for all employees.

    Duties and Responsibilities

  • Support preparing employee manual

  • Managing the hotel staffs, including coordinating and supporting the recruitment process.

  • Recruiting staff, designing job descriptions, creating candidate shortlists and conducting primary interviews

  • Onboarding newcomers to the Hotel

  • Working closely with other departments to implement policies and procedures

  • Promoting equality and diversity within the business

  • Overseeing health and safety policies

  • Manage promotional plans for each department

  • Managing employee leave such as sick leave annual leave maternity leave

  • Manage employee benefit and compensation

  • Determining suitable salaries and remuneration

  • Manage employee payroll

  • Supporting employee opportunities for professional development

  • Managing succession planning of staff

  • Assisting with the performance management and review process

  • Handling staff complaints, grievances and implementing disciplinary procedures

  • Managing the administrative tasks

    []Experience

  • 5 years of experience in Human resource position especially a minimum of 2 years’ experience in managerial position

  • Hotel experience is more preferable

    Educational qualifications

  • BA degree in Management, HR Management, Business administration and related fields.

  • Master degree holder is a plus
