Responsibilities

Understands and implements operating policies and procedures.

Conducts HIV Pre and Post Test Counseling.

Elicits from clients HIV risk history including, but not limited to, demographic information, sex history, drug and alcohol use, and past STD infections.

Administers oral or fingerstick tests to detect HIV antibodies.

Collects and processes specimen samples in accordance with National, State, and Local guidelines.

Provides health education and individual risk reduction counseling sessions.

Promotes healthy sexual behaviors and praises risk reduction plans adopted by clients.

Conducts test result disclosure and post disclosure counseling as needed and required.

Offer clients local community and medical referrals as needed.

Documents all required information for reporting purposes.

Other duties may be requested as needed.

Responsibilities

Reviews and processes prescriptions and medication orders as per request.

Assist pharmacist in preparing and dispensing medication orders and prescription.

Prepares, fills and compounds drugs orders by AHF physicians and other authorized personnel.

Assist the pharmacist in the retrieval of accurate, concise, applicable data relating to drug usage. Also be able to collect specific patient related information (eg: allergies, drug patients contraindications, side effects, dosages and storage of drugs, etc).

Provide and supply information or instructions relating to the correct use of drugs supplied.

Maintains established policies and procedures concerning quality assurance, security of controlled substances, and disposal of hazardous waste drugs.

Receives and stores incoming stock or medical supplies according to the SOP and follow regulation

Performs along with pharmacist monthly stock count (monthly stock-take).

Clean equipment and instruments according to the prescribed methods. And also help maintain clean working environment in the pharmacy including keeping the area in order

Monitor and record pharmacy areas, and refridgerator, daily temperature according to SOP.

Be able to answer telephone queries prompt and cautiously.

Be able to communicates with relevant personnel at Provincial Pharmaceutical Supply

Depot (PPSD formerly know as PMSC) to ensure timely delivery of drugs, if requested.

Communicates with relevant personnel at Primary Health Care (PHC) sites to ensure timely distribution of pre-dispensed drugs.

Provides weekly adherence reports, monthly reports on down referral sites.

Provides pharmacy manager with statistical data as required.

Responsibilities

Ability to manage large claims systems including interfaces with electronic medical charts, clinical system, wellness centers, and Global Track system.

Participates with IT Department team and Medical Executive and Quality team to create and implement a strategy and plan for New Electronic System to LAB.

Leads and create overall strategy and plans in the area of data architecture / data modeling for new IT projects

Answers questions and provides information to patients and providers on drug interactions, side effects, dosage and storage of pharmaceuticals

Manages appropriate data collection, such as client name, prescribed medication and cost, to maintain pharmacy files, charge system, and inventory
