Job description:

  • The Finance/Accounting/ and HR is responsible to Oversee the financial and HR activities of the company; is accountable for accurate reporting of financial results and managing the company’s financial affairs and establishing financial status by developing and implementing systems for collecting, analyzing, verifying, and reporting information. Recruiting, reviewing, training staff, and develop staff policy.

    Responsibilities: Finance

  • Managing financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, presentation of financial result and insights to management.

  • Overseeing Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Tax, and prepare monthly payroll.

  • Process and prepare financial and business forms for the purpose of checking account balances, facilitating purchases, etc.

  • Update financial spreadsheets with daily transactions.

  • Follow up on outstanding payments, review payment requests, prepare a financial statement.

  • Train finance and non-finance staff on financial policies, procedures, and regulations.

  • Overall responsibility for recording accounting transactions, monitoring cash inflow and outflow, and budget controlling.

  • Ensure that the established control systems for assets acquisition, handling, and utilization are consistently applied.

    Responsibilities: HR

  • Recruitment, training, mentoring, and development of staff.

  • Ensure an appropriate system of confidential personnel files.

  • Reviewing and ensuring the implementation of all formal
    HR policies and procedures.

  • Place of work: Legetafo, Oromia, Ethiopia

    Job Requirements

    Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum 4-year experience as finance head

  • Experience in human resources.

  • Minimum first degree in accounting and office management/ business administration or related field preferred.

  • Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask.

  • Solid understanding of financial management, accounting, and accounting software.

  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Knowledge of recruitment procedures, HR practices, and procedures.

  • Knowledge of employment legislation and regulations.

  • Effective HR administration and people management skills.

  • Conflict management skills and Problem–solving.

  • Good knowledge of Microsoft office.

  • Effective leadership qualities.
