Job Purpose

  • The cadre is responsible for the provision and management of office administrative services to facilitate the achievement of the Commission’s mandate.

    The officer will be reporting to the Manager Human Resource and Administration and will be responsible for:

  • Collecting data and keeping records of all vehicles, equipment, facilities and assets;

  • Following up for prompt payment of electricity, water bills and other utilities;

  • Coordinating cleanliness of offices;

  • Following up for maintenance of office equipment, facilities and buildings;

  • Identifying and allocating office space;

  • Taking part in investigation of security incidents and liaising with relevant agents and other security services;

  • Following up with relevant legal entities for timely acquisition of legal documents such as motor vehicle and assets insurances and licenses; and

  • Preparing progress reports.

    Person Specifications

    For appointment to this grade, an officer must have:-

  • Have Bachelor’s degree in any of the following disciplines:- Public Administration, Business Administration, Political Science /Government, Anthropology equivalent qualification from a recognized institution;

  • Be proficient in computer applications; and

  • Meet the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution.

    Integrity Clearance:

  • In addition to the qualifications set above, shortlisted candidates will be required to provide copies of clearance certificates/letters of good standing from the following;

  • Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC).

  • Criminal Investigation Department (CID).

  • Kenya
    Revenue Authority (KRA).

  • Higher Education Loans Board (HELB).

  • Credit Bureau Reference.
