    Job Summary

  • In this role you will be analysing, planning, designing, developing and delivering CIB Corporate product/channel training courses to internal staff (as part of Business as Usual (BAU) and Project related activities). You will also review training delivered and assess and ensure identified competency requirements of the target group are met according to the standards required by CIB Corporate.

    Your accountabilities will include;

  • Converting the Business Requirements into Systems Specifications during system development and enhance systems currently in production. Provide support to the end users.

  • Providing ongoing support to the business team. Drive and support the embedment of systems, processes and solutions the operations business teams

  • Supporting a business unit by mapping operational processes for the execution of transactions or activities and recommend areas for improvement in processes to reduce cycle times, improve productivity, create capacity and improve process reliability and customer satisfaction.

  • Interacting with product and process owners, conduct business process needs analysis to understand the requirements, inputs, handoffs and outputs of the process.

  • Facilitating process design workshops with participants from the processing areas and the process owners. Mapping the processes using the bank's approved mapping standards (currently MS Visio). This includes facilitating, designing and documenting process
    decomposition diagrams and defining and documenting business processes to cover the total life cycle of the product or service covered.

  • Reviewing process maps to ensure that all regulatory, compliance, Sarbanes-Oxley and operational risk control elements are incorporated and highlighted.

  • Being the Subject Matter Expert on the content of the policies, procedures and processes in the portfolio by providing information to any person in the business unit requesting clarification on the requirements.

  • Producing circulars to ensure effective communication of policy, process or procedure changes. Ensuring that circulars are published before changes become effective.

  • Building relationships with business areas & DevOps teams to proactively develop expertise in the various business process.

  • B Degree in Commerce or Engineering.

  • 5 years’ work experience in a financial institution.

  • 2 years’ experience with process mapping/process improvement.

  • 5 years’ experience in Trade and Working Capital product and process life cycle.
