Program Administrator West Africa

ACDI/VOCA seeks an experienced Program Administrator for a three-year USAID-funded project in West Africa.

The exact country has not been specified, since it will be a joint decision between the winner and USAID to determine the preferred location.

The West Africa Cotton Improvement Program (WACIP) is focused on increasing yields and incomes of cotton producers in Benin, Burkina Faso, Chad and Mali, known as the cotton four countries or C-4.

It will also provide assistance for growth of value added operations in cotton processing and transformation of cotton into manufactured goods in the C-4.

Qualifications

  • experience in office and logistics management
  • experience with USAID projects including funding and
  • management of sub-grants and contracts is required
  • regional experience is preferred
  • ability to read and write in French and English is essential
  • degree in finance, management and/or procurement is required funded development projects.
  • excellent written and oral communications skills necessary
