The officer will be reporting to the Deputy Director,HR and Administration and will head the Records Management unit.

Key Responsibilities:-

  • Efficient management of registry services
  • Initiating appraisal and disposal of files, documents and other records
  • Ensuring security of information, documents, files and office equipment
  • Organizing appropriate accommodation for registry material
  • Supervision, guidance and development of staff working under him/her

    Requirements for Appointment:-

    For appointment to this grade, an officer must have:

  • Served in the grade of Records Management Officer or equivalent position in the Public Service or in a reputable organization for at least four (4) years.
  • A Bachelors degree in Information Science/Records Management or its equivalent qualification from a recognized university
  • Computer application skills; and
  • Shown merit and professional competency in work performance
